Calvary Bible Church
The Bible admonishes us, "But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way" (1Cor. 14:40); to this end we, the members of Calvary Bible Church, solemnly and sincerely set forth the following Doctrinal Statement by which we willingly and cheerfully agree to be governed. Name of Church The church shall be know as Calvary Bible Church: a non-profit corporation in the State of Michigan in accordance with Section 81, Act 327, Public Acts of 1931 as amended.
Purpose of Church The purpose of this church shall be: to carry out the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:18-20), to witness for him in our community and throughout the world, to regularly meet for worship and instruction on the Lord's Day, to observe His ordinances, to seek to build up his people in all spiritual grace, to equip the saints to carry out the work of the ministry, to provide Christian fellowship for the brethren of like minds, to provide and support missionaries of like doctrine around the world, and to plant other churches of like doctrine and faith.
