May Fellowship Feast
May Fellowship Feast Plan now to attend the May Fellowship Feast, which will be on May 20 at 5 p.m. Note: Because of the Memorial Day weekend (May 26-27), this Fellowship Feast will take place on the third Sunday of May, rather than the typical fourth Sunday. Come for dinner, the Lord’s Supper, prayer, and a fun time together as a church family. Sign up to bring a main dish as well as a side or dessert. Questions? Contact Rod Perkins or Blake Hasselbring.
Servant Saturday May 19
Roll up your sleeves and bring your family for Calvary’s annual spring cleaning day. Meet at the church on May 19 from 8am-2pm to help keep our building and grounds beautiful. Parents, any children under 13 years old will be assigned a task under your supervision; all kids are encouraged to participate. Lunch is provided! Sign up today in the foyer, even if you can only work an hour or two.
Sunday School Opportunities
Our kids Sunday School program has some immediate needs for volunteers:
- Helpers: There are two immediate openings for helpers in the children’s Sunday School program: 1) in the class for Ages 2-3; and 2) in the class for Ages 4-5. In addition to serving the Lord in a rewarding ministry in our church, you can also include this volunteer service in your resume. Employers look favorably on candidates who volunteer in community organizations. If you are interested, contact Rod Perkins.
- Substitute Teachers: If you would like to volunteer to be a substitute teacher for the children’s Sunday School classes, please contact Rod Perkins.
One Day With God Camp
Calvary Bible Church is hosting the One Day With God camp June 2, 2012. This is a day where your actions of service and love can impart hope to those incarcerated at Huron Valley. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Melissa in the church office. All forms must be in by May 17.
