History
Calvary Bible Church was founded in 1988 by our Senior Pastor, Wesley Rowe.
Wesley Rowe
Dr. Wesley Gene Rowe is the founder of Calvary Bible Church. He served as Senior Pastor through 2009.
On December 31, 2009, Dr. Rowe resigned as Senior Pastor at Calvary in order to plant a new church in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Rowe is a graduate of Cedarville University. He did master’s work at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and Michigan Theological Seminary and earned his Master of Divinity degree from Grand Rapids Baptist Theological Seminary. He also obtained a Doctor of Ministry degree from Grand Rapids Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Rowe has served as Senior Pastor at two previous churches before he founded Calvary Bible Church in 1988. He is currently forming a core group to plant a new church in Columbus, Ohio. You can find out more about his new church plant by visiting his website, http://wesleyrowe.com.
