May Fellowship Feast
Plan now to be with us this Sunday, May 22 for an evening that will be somewhat different from previous Fellowship Feasts…a little more fellowshipping, and a little less feasting.
First, we will observe the Lord’s Supper and pray together, starting at 5 p.m. Around 6 p.m., we will break up into small groups for various games. Rather than having a full meal together, plan to bring snack or dessert that does not need to be refrigerated. Do you have a favorite card game, board game, or party game that you would like to play? Good Friday Service at 7 p.m.
We will be having a Good Friday service on Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m. in the chapel, at the north end of our building. Worship the Lord with us as we remember his death on the cross.
Right Hand of Fellowship on 4/17
We will be welcoming new members into our church family on Sunday, April 17th. If you have completed our membership class and have been scripturally baptized, this is for you. To receive the Right Hand of Fellowship, you must complete and turn in your membership application by Monday, April 11th. Completed applications can be submitted by sliding them under Pastor Brian’s office door (Room 183, near the chapel) or in box 104.
Easter Service for Seniors
Come join us for our Easter Worship Service at Bortz Senior Center, on April 17th at 1:30 p.m. You can just show up (2nd Floor) or if you’d like to help with the music or snacks please contact Jen Lammers.
Women’s Night Out
WOMEN’S NIGHT OUT – CHILDCARE PROVIDED! Come join Barb Rider on Mondays, 6:30 – 8:30 pm here at the church for a relaxing, creative time of Bible Study. This study rotation will run through April 25th and we’d love to meet you! Please contact Jen Lammers or Veronica Slayton four days in advance for childcare if possible.
March Fellowship Feast
For this month’s Fellowship Feast, join us on Sunday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. for a Chili Cook-Off!
Our panel of celebrity judges will once again be awarding exciting prizes in several categories! For those entering the contest, please bring your chili entry to the church by 4:40 pm so we can register it for judging.
Not a chili connoisseur? Help us round out our feast by signing up for other needed food items. Please remember to bring serving utensils for the food you bring. Communion and prayer will follow the meal.

Daylight Saving Time Begins Tonight
Just a reminder to set your clocks forward one hour tonight as we begin Daylight Saving Time tonight, March 12.
New Evangelism Opportunity for Women
There is a new opportunity available for personal evangelism with the women at the Huron Valley Correctional Facility. New Creations Ministries out of Grand Rapids has been invited to meet with each woman as she arrives there to serve a sentence. There are approximately 40-50 such women arriving each week. Local volunteers are needed urgently to share the Gospel with them. All the training and support you need will be provided. The meetings will take place mornings and afternoons on weekdays. Your commitment can be one time or multiple times, depending on your availability. This is an excellent opportunity to share the grace of God with people during a time of great crisis. It is also a great opportunity to become more comfortable sharing your faith. Please prayerfully consider whether you can help fill this need. Contact Suzanne Jones for more information.

Welcome to Calvary Seminar
If you are interested in church membership and were not able to take the Welcome to Calvary Sunday School class, Pastor Brian will be teaching this class as a one day seminar on Sunday, March 13 from 2-6 p.m. in the chapel. This class is required for church membership and for anyone who would like to be baptized on March 27th. Please sign up by calling the church office at 734-434-4044, or using the email form.
Baptism on 3/27/11
We will be baptizing in both of our Sunday worship services on Sunday, March 27. If you would like to be baptized on that day, you must complete the Welcome to Calvary Bible Church class on Sunday March 13 or have already completed this class in the past.
