What’s Worth Fighting For?
Our current Sunday series is titled, “What’s Worth Fighting For?” This series covers the book of 1 Timothy.
Some things in life are too valuable to surrender with out a fight. In 1 Timothy, Paul has sent his trusted friend and associate Timothy to Ephesus to fight for the future of that church which was threatened by false teachers. In addition to telling Timothy, and the Ephesians, how to combat the threats, he tells Timothy how to fight for a life that is pleasing to God. Join us this Sunday at 9 or 11:30 a.m. as we explore this book verse by verse.
A Better Brand of Happiness
Our current Sunday morning series is titled, “A better brand of happiness.” This is a study of the book of Philippians.
Happiness is not a product or a thing in itself. It is always the byproduct of something else. The marketplace promises happiness to us if we buy their products. The world and the sin nature promise happiness to us if we live selfishly instead of doing what God wants.
The Bible, on the other hand, offers a better brand of happiness—joy. Joy is a sustained, supernatural feeling of hope and satisfaction that transcends our circumstances. Nearly every paragraph in Philippians speaks about joy in one way or another. But, Philippians does not tell us “how to have joy” nor does it promise joy as a goal of being a Christian. Rather, this series will show us that the best brand of happiness—true joy—comes as a byproduct of serving and worshipping and walking with Christ.
Join us this Sunday at one of our worship services—9 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to discover A Better Brand of Happiness.
Beautiful, Broken, Brought Back
Our current series is titled “Beautiful, Broken, Brought Back.” This series is a study of the book of Genesis.
The Bible opens with a powerful book describing God’s relationship with humanity. After creating a beautiful world consisting of all reality, we rebelled from God’s will and sought to live our own way, breaking God’s beautiful creation. How did God respond to this? How can this broken creation be brought back to the beauty God created it to have? The book of Genesis raises and answers these questions. Join us each Sunday as we explore what God’s word says about them.

Unshakable Lives
Our current series is titled “Unshakable Lives.” This series is a study of the book of Colossians.
Around A.D. 60, the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to a church in Colossae, urging them to build their lives on the strong foundation of Jesus Christ and never to leave that foundation. Sometime shortly after he wrote this letter, which we know as the NT book of Colossians, the city of Colossae was destroyed by an earthquake. Although the natural world shook and destroyed the lives and the possessions of this church family, God’s Word in Colossians explained to them how their Lord Jesus Christ gave them an unshakable place to build a life that is pleasing to God. Join us as we study this book together to see how knowing Jesus Christ gives us unshakable lives.
