Read Hebrews 4:14-16 again.
Yesterday we considered the phrase “Son of God” and we talked about one false conclusion that people read in that phrase. Other people read the phrase “the Son of God” and think, “a son is something that is produced, one of God’s creations, someone who is weaker and inferior to God himself.”
Read John 5:16-23. In verse 17, Jesus referred to God the Father as “My Father.” What was the physical response in verse 18 of the Jews who heard Jesus call God his father?
According to verse 18, what caused the Jews to react this way (besides the fact that Christ broke the Sabbath)?
According to verse 23, how much honor does Christ the Son deserve?
