- Go back and look at the Big Idea you wrote on Thursday. Is it on the target or is it a bull’s eye? If not, how does your study of these verses help you refine it into a bull’s eye?
- Verse 15 and verse 28 say that Christ’s death settled the problem of sin between those who are called and God. Verse 28, however, says that Christ’s second appearing “will bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” If Christ’s death saved us, then what does it mean that he will “bring salvation” (future) when he returns?
- What does this future aspect of salvation mean for our daily lives while we “are waiting for him?”
