Calvary Classes

Sundays @ 9 a.m.

Calvary Classes are part of our Family Ministries

The Mission of Calvary Bible Church is “to Call the people of Washtenaw County to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and Connect them together to serve Him.” Calvary Classes fits with the “connect them together to serve Him” portion of our mission. It is about “connecting” people with a teacher (teacher/disciple relationship) who can instruct them in the Bible. This ministry meets 45 Sundays a year from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., just prior to our Sunday worship service.

Next Adult Calvary Classes

Our current session Calvary Classes ends on April 29 and a new set of Calvary Classes begin on May 6. These are the classes we are offering for adults:

  • Biblical Conflict Resolution taught by Nick Buthman in room 233. This class will examine the book: The Peace Maker: A Biblical Guide to Resolving Personal Conflict by Ken Sande. The class will walk through biblical ways to resolve conflict in the different areas of our lives. Talk to Nick Buthman if you have any questions.
  • Old Testament Survey taught by Pastor Brian in the chapel. We will explore God’s faithfulness despite human human failure as we study the 39 books that are called “The Old Testament.” This class is required for church membership so if you are a new member here at Calvary or new to Calvary and considering membership, this class is for you. CBC Teens are also encouraged to take this class.

Please sign up on Sunday in your response card or use the form below to sign up online.
