The world's largest Christmas project of its kind, Operation Christmas Child, uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. While you are school shopping, would you be able to pick up some extra supplies for some needy children? Use them to pack a shoebox or donate them. A box to donate will be located in the cafe.
National Collection Week is coming November 12 - 19 here at Calvary. Consider packing a shoebox to share God's love with a boy or girl in another country!
Don't know how? Come to the table in the cafe for ideas. We even have shoeboxes available to take home and pack or choose one from home. Then drop it off at CBC during November 12 - 19. Just want to donate supplies? There is a box available at the table for donations (toys, soap, school supplies, etc.) New items, please!

Bag of Blessings in the Congo:
Bakatwamba carried his school supplies and books in a paper bag every day. He was able to attend an Operation Christmas Child outreach event at a local church. When he opened his shoebox gift, he was overjoyed to discover a brand-new school bag. Through Operation Christmas Child, Bakatwamba also had the opportunity to enroll in The Greatest Journey discipleship course, and he later accepted Jesus as his Savior. After graduating from the discipleship course and receiving his certificate, his entire family came to know Jesus, and now attend a local church.
